The FNX-45 Tactical represents the pinnacle of combat-ready sidearms, engineered by FN America to deliver unmatched reliability, accuracy, and modern adaptability. Originally developed from the FNP-45 Tactical for the U.S. Joint Combat Pistol Program, this pistol has been refined into a duty-grade platform trusted by professionals and enthusiasts alike.
Built around the powerful .45 ACP cartridge, the FNX-45 Tactical features a 5.3-inch cold hammer-forged stainless steel barrel that provides long-lasting accuracy and durability. The flat dark earth stainless slide and polymer frame give the pistol a rugged yet lightweight profile, weighing just 33.6 ounces. Its low-bore-axis design reduces felt recoil, while the ergonomic grip angle and four interchangeable backstraps ensure a natural point of aim for shooters of all hand sizes.
For modern optics integration, this package includes a FREE Holosun 407C red dot sight mounted via the FN Optics Mounting System, giving you fast target acquisition right out of the box. Suppressor-height night sights (1-dot front, 2-dot rear) come standard, providing a clear sight picture whether you’re running the optic or iron sights.
The FNX-45 Tactical is built for true ambidextrous use, with dual safety/decocker levers, slide stop, and magazine release accessible from either side. This makes it ideal for both right- and left-handed shooters. The external hammer-fired system delivers a consistent, 6-pound average trigger pull, combining traditional control with modern tactical function.
Rounding out the package are five included 10-round double-stack magazines (where legal), a cable lock, and a fitted hard case. This pistol is ready for duty, defense, or range use the moment it leaves the box.
